Trip Description.

Be transported to enthralling subantarctic islands rich with human history and unique wildlife. Then venture into the deep south of the Antarctic Peninsula, crossing the coveted Antarctic Circle. Zodiac-cruise in vast ice-covered landscapes, visit lively penguin colonies, watch for whales and discover the rich history of this fascinating region. 

Voyage Map.

Starting in Ushuaia, this voyage spans the South Atlantic to the Falklands~Malvinas, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula, including an Antarctic Circle crossing. Highlights include wildlife-rich Zodiac excursions, historical sites, vast penguin colonies, and ice-laden landscapes. The journey combines educational sea days with land explorations and aims to celebrate the crossing of the Antarctic Circle. It concludes with a return through the Drake Passage to Ushuaia.

    Basic kayaking experience is of advantage, but it is not a requirement. Physical fitness is essential. Kayaking is subject to weather and prevailing ice conditions.

  • Will we get off the ship?

    Yes!!! After leaving Ushuaia it will be the ultimate goal of the Captain, Expedition Leader, and the Expedition Team to make sure we get off the ship as much as possible. You’ll participate in landings, zodiac cruises, and any additional activities you’ve signed up for. Check the “Day by day trip itinerary” above for more details on each outing.

    Not necessarily, no! Our group trips are usually made up of around 50% solo travelers! Prices are always per person, per bed. If you’re a solo traveler, we will match you with a same-gender roommate from our group to share your cabin with. There is also the option for solo cabin availability on certain trips.
