Trip Description.

The Polar Circle air-cruise is one of the most adventurous expeditions that we offer. Our main objective on this air-cruise expedition is to try and reach the Antarctic Polar Circle located at approximately 66° south of the equator. The Expedition Team handcrafts every voyage depending on the Antarctic weather and each day of the Polar Circle air-cruise is filled with ample opportunities to explore.

Voyage Map.

Your Antarctic journey kicks off in Punta Arenas, Chile, with an introductory briefing and welcome dinner. The adventure swiftly escalates with a flight to King George Island, where your first encounter with the Antarctic begins. From there, you're transported to your expedition vessel via Zodiac. Over the following six days, you'll be immersed in the awe-inspiring landscapes of ice-filled fjords and spectacular icebergs, closely interacting with the region's wildlife. The expedition includes daily explorations of the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula, aiming for the Polar Circle while adapting to the dynamic environment. Each day brings new discoveries, guided by expert polar guides. The adventure concludes with a return flight to Punta Arenas, leaving you with unforgettable memories of the Antarctic's stunning beauty.

Explorers House

An expedition to Antarctica is an experience like no other and

success depends on preparation.

Explorers House is an exclusive facility in Punta Arenas where our team helps you prepare for your expedition. You can attend briefings, try on expedition gear, practice wearing a life jacket, and learn how to board a Zodiac.

At Explorers House you can interact with our team, review checklists, and get answers to any questions you may have about your trip, so you will be ready and confident when you arrive in Antarctica. Explorers House also functions as our own private club. It provides a modern environment where you can relax with a cup of coffee, review a wonderful collection of Antarctic books, and get to know your travel companions as excitement over the upcoming adventure builds. Explorers House was designed by renowned architects and was built using green building practices. It features a commercial solar panel system to produce electricity and heat.
